Terms of Service
Last updated: [CUSTOMISE: e.g. 1 July 2026]
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Decidia service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using Decidia on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Decidia provides a structured decision-intelligence workspace enabling teams to run governed AI-assisted decision sessions. The service is provided "as is" during the private beta. Features, pricing, and availability may change. We will endeavour to give reasonable notice of material changes. [CUSTOMISE: add specific feature commitments, SLA if applicable.]
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use Decidia. You must not share login credentials or allow others to access your account. Notify us immediately at legal@decidia.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use Decidia to: (a) violate any applicable law; (b) infringe intellectual property rights; (c) transmit malware or attempt to gain unauthorised access; (d) generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or facilitates harm; (e) reverse-engineer, scrape, or benchmark the service without permission; (f) circumvent rate limits or billing controls. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit to Decidia (decision briefs, uploaded documents, workspace data). You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and transmit your content solely to provide the service. We will not sell or use your content for AI training without explicit consent. You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to any content you upload.
6. Intellectual property
The Decidia service, including software, design, and documentation, is owned by Halbon Labs Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or brand features. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of the service without written permission.
7. Payment
[CUSTOMISE: insert payment terms when billing is live. Include: pricing page link, billing cycle, refund policy, auto-renewal, tax treatment.] During private beta, Decidia is provided without charge to accepted participants. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans with reasonable notice.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Halbon Labs Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of £100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
9. Disclaimers
Decidia is a decision-support tool. AI-generated content may be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading. You are responsible for all decisions made using the service. We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI outputs are accurate or fit for any particular purpose.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may delete your account via the Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or if required by law, with or without notice depending on the severity of the breach. On termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where local law requires otherwise.
